Shrublands CL is located to the rear of the Shrublands house on the edge of Wighton village, just 3 miles from the quay at Wells-Next-The-Sea.
The land around Shrublands is screened from the site by trees and shrubs and is predominantly private farmland. The west of the site and the access track are bounded by private gardens. For reasons of safety and privacy these areas are ‘out of bounds’ to CL residents. There are however, a number of superb country walks and cycle routes immediately accessible from the site. The local hourly bus service to either Wells or Fakenham stops directly outside the house.

From Fakenham: At the Fakenham roundabout (converging of the A148 and A1065) take the A148 towards Cromer. After 100 yards turn left off the A148 and follow the B1105 towards ‘Wells’. Turn left after half a mile, still following the signs for the B1105 to Wells. After approx 5 miles you will pass through the ‘ABN / Holkham grain store site – after passing through this site take the first right turn (small crossroads) towards Wighton. You will find Shrublands after 2 miles, opposite the next T junction.

Alternatively, if you missed the second turn left turn towards Wells-Next-The Sea, Continue through Barsham, Little Walsingham (at the end of the high street turn right and then next left to Wighton).
After the Wighton village sign there is a sharp left hand bend you will find Shrublands on the right (Fakenham to Wighton – 7 miles). Avoid using this route with a caravan as the road through Little Walsingham village is narrow! Note: some satnavs will take you this way or will try to bypass the B1105 and take you on through Little Snoring!!!!!! Avoid these options if possible.

From Wells-Next-The-Sea take the A149 (coast road) towards Cromer and turn right at the signs for Warham/Wighton/Walsingham. Entering Wighton you will find Shrublands on the left, after the sharp left hand bend.
