The static caravan is an extension to our B &
B and sits in the part of our garden known to us as Gruff's Orchard - a
small private garden landscaped with *fruit
trees. There is space to sit out (bring your own deck chairs) we provide
garden table & chairs to eat 'al-fresco' and there is private parking.
Although the static is adjacent to our * 'water
garden', neighbouring gardens and our certified caravan site it is 'tucked
away' in a nice private little area.
* Health & Safety: Our water garden has
two ponds and a small rhyll and whilst it is, for the health and safety
of all our guests, fenced and gated, parents are responsible for their own
children's safety and we ask that they make sure they do not allow their
children access to this area, likewise we request that, for their own safety,
children are stopped from climbing the trees - no matter how tempting!
Vehicular access to the static caravan is through our Caravan Club Certified Site (an authorised 5 pitch touring site for vans which must be owned by CC members). The site (shown right) is spacious, quiet and well established (16 years)

Whilst being very understanding why we cannot take children in the house,
many of our guests (mostly grandparents) have wished there was a way of bringing
their children/grandchildren to Shrublands for bed and breakfast - now they
can.
* Your own area of our garden with table and chairs for outdoor picnics and
relaxation (sited in our orchard garden)
* Private parking adjacent to van - we also have enough parking space if you
want to bring a small dinghy, boat or bikes.
* Area accessed through our Caravan Club CL (certificated location) and ideal
for the friends and families of our CL guests who wish to holiday at the same
time, but do not caravan themselves. A great Granny & Grandpa annex but
your own space and the luxury of someone else providing the breakfast!
* Available June to October half term and the Easter, May and June Bank Holidays

* The mini 'Orchard', known to us as 'Gruff's Garden' is set in a private
willow & hawthorn hedged area (new willow hedges planted in 2011 and still
growing - these will double up the existing hawthorn boundary hedge and give
guests added privacy)

(Cley to Snettisham) as well as Pensthorpe and Sculthorpe Moor, beaches and
country houses.
* This facility is not allocated without specific booking (ie should the rooms
in the house be full, guests are not automatically put into the static without
consultation) *

This facility opened during summer 2011 and
was very well received by the guests that stayed - some returned for a second
visit later in the year and all that used it said they would recommend it.
You do not share this accommodation with other guests during your stay,
and it is ideal for families. All linen and bathroom towels are provided
(please provide your own beach towels). The layout ideally suits two adults
and two children in two rooms (one double and one twin).
The accommodation would also suit a couple plus a single adult or one single
adult in either room (suppliments apply)
A beautiful breakfast, full of choice - healthy or otherwise is included
in the price.
(Please note that guests are not automatically booked into this facility if the house is full).
