The strange weather did give us some truly spectacular sunsets. This one was taken Jan. 2010 from the front of the house.
Our Blackbirds require high levels of maintenance during this hard weather. The Boss, Tootsie & Spot always require three square meals a day plus snacks. Shares in a dried fruit company might be a good idea!

Guests have just come back from their walk delighted with having seen at least 6 different barn owls (they saw more but they think some of them were repeats); One as they walked through the village. Two viewed at the Roman Camp on the way to Warham and four more on the marshes as they walked from Warham to Wells, including one that landed on a post just near them.
